About Me
I’ve always been a reader and was fortunate to realize that I have an eye for proofreading while in college. The curse, of course, is how frequently I find mistakes in media. You’ll find me muttering “typo!” while reading the newspaper and shaking my head at misspellings and wrong word usage on blogs and Facebook posts. I’m thrilled that I can put my proofreading skills to good use and help court reporters and authors polish their work.
I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon and have worked as an editor for pharmaceutical and construction trade magazines. I have also completed specific training in transcript proofreading through Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice™. When I’m not proofreading, you’ll find me hiking, camping, and snowboarding with my family in the mountains near our home in Utah.
